About Last Mile Moving — Denver, CO

A licensed Denver mover treating what you own as carefully as its own gear — written pricing, no surprises.

How Last Mile Moving Got Started

Reid Calloway grew up in Park Hill, and his road into this work ran through years driving courier and last-mile delivery routes across the Denver metro before he ever ran a moving crew. Stop after stop, he watched the same problem play out: a breezy phone quote ballooning into a swollen hourly bill by dusk, dropped on a family already worn thin. By 2016 he’d had enough of it, bought a truck, and built his own company on one idea: name the fair figure upfront, keep your word on the date, and treat what people own as if it can’t be replaced. That idea still runs the place.

Every license and policy a Colorado mover should carry, we carry, and a job never gets handed off or signed over to someone else. Hire us and it’s our crew stepping out of our trucks in company shirts, doing the packing, the loading, the driving, and the unloading themselves.

The Way We Work

What wears people down about moving is the number waiting at the end. We kill that worry with a written flat rate: whatever you’re quoted is exactly what you settle. Local work opens at $129/hr for two movers plus the truck, pads, and dollies, though most jobs get a firm figure put on paper so nobody’s watching a clock.

  • Crew and trucks we own — badged, background-checked W-2 movers, never day labor
  • Properly licensed and insured — Colorado PUC household-goods permit, plus USDOT and MC authority for interstate
  • $1M cargo coverage riding along on every job, keeping your things protected
  • Weather-aware scheduling — an eye on March and April blizzards, icy move days, and fast Front Range temperature swings

Who You’ll Meet

You’ll usually get Reid or someone at the office on the phone, since this is a tight Denver shop and not a call bank. On the trucks, Reid still runs lead on plenty of days, and a couple of crew leads who’ve been with him for years take the rest: one handles the piano and specialty work, another runs the long-haul and interstate jobs over the divide and across the plains, and the bench is people Reid knows by name. Nobody on your move is a stranger off a list.

Here’s where it lands: a real Denver owner answers for every job, the number stays honest before anyone lifts a box, and the same people who built this name show up at your door. Read what neighbors wrote on the reviews page, and when it suits you, grab a no-cost flat figure.
